i would like permission to edit because some of the information is incorrect. Fern1234567890 (talk) 11:15, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Fern1234567890: If you post another protected edit request, this time saying exactly what change you think should be made to the article and why, someone can review your suggestion and decide whether to go ahead with it. The reason for protecting the article is that there is a history of new editors making unsuitable changes; it would defeat the purpose of protection if we were to just allow anyone to edit who just said they wish to. Alter humanity

[edit]

Its when someone partially identifies as mammals, mythical creatures, even dinosaurs. it is different from furries, alter humanity is a umbrella term,Therianthropy falls under it, It is when some one non physically identifies as a animal, sometimes they wear animal masks, and tails, they relate to the essence and behavior of a animal. 2001:1A40:102F:7200:709B:866D:A1F6:CC02 (talk) 19:27, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information lost due to redirect

[edit]

I have noticed that this page has been redirected to shape-shifting, but that article doesn't cover any information that this page did, so I think that either the information that was on this page should be added to the article on shape-shifting, or to return this article to how it was before, because I really think that the content that this page used to cover is rather important, and that therianthropy isn't sufficiently covered on this site Not a kitsune (talk) 15:08, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Could you provide here the missing details and WP:RS that can be used to describe these? Thank you in advance, Викидим (talk) 16:15, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pointing out that it's not covered in any way, and I'm asking people to think about adding the content that was removed from here to the page that this was merged with Not a kitsune (talk) 01:19, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please describe the missing information and the sources. I am not aware of anything well-substantiated missing. Викидим (talk) 07:19, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I completely agree with you're statment, this article does not cover the meaning in a way that conveys truth about the communit. 64.135.133.225 (talk) 22:25, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

True facts;

[edit]

I feel like this article doesn't describe therians very well, since therianthropy is more spiritual than physical. Please do more research on this topic to add a more true outline to the therian community and what it means. Instead on a sentence that can lead anyone to a completely different conclusions. Thanks in Advance from Forest. 64.135.133.225 (talk) 22:22, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

'some information'''''''

Therianthropy is an entire community and there is way too much hate that goes towards them. As a therian myself, I think that this information would be extremely helpful when new to therianthropy. Let me get one thing clear, therianthropy is not shape-shifting. Therians have "shifts" which is an impulse to behave like a non-human animal. Then ,there is quadrobics, commonly referred to as "quads". Quads is basically walking on all fours but walking, jumping, trotting, and galloping. Please remember, not all therians do quads, and not all people who do quads are therians. Therianthropy is different for everyone, quads is just another way to express yourself. there is a very common misunderstanding between therians and furrys. Therians identify as a non-human animal, furrys have a fancination with animals with human characteristics. One commonly used question is "how do you become a therian?" well, the answer is that you can't "become a therian" you're born that way and you find out later. This is called being "awakened". If you think you're a therian, ask one [if you know one] and if you don't then go do a whole bunch of research. Just a freindly reminder, don't tell everyone. Unfortunately, some people bully others for being themselves. If I got anything wrong, feel free to correct me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.47.104.204 (talk) 01:36, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
