Minesweeper
[edit]Colledge doesn't mention a WWII-era minesweeper, what's the evidence for it? Stan 17:22, 16 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- The Navy News, the "online news of the Royal Navy," at http://www.navynews.co.uk/ships/sirgalahad.asp , states "[t]he original Sir Galahad was an Admiralty minesweeper trawler of the Round Table class." Not much, but it does indicate that it existed. --the Epopt 01:38, 17 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Mysterious. I only have the first volume, not the one with the auxiliaries, but there are a number of other "Sir" minesweepers listed. Wouldn't be the first mistake I've turned up in Colledge tho, DANFS it ain't. Stan 05:46, 17 Feb 2004 (UTC)
