While IMDB does have a few James Stevenses (a few are probably duplicates), none of these verifies this entry made on Sep 22, 2003 by IP 172.131.99.94 in this edit. Lupo 08:09, 18 Mar 2004 (UTC)

CalRis 07:36, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC): I removed the following entry because of factual errors: 1910 - The first radio broadcast. Inventor Lee De Forest broadcasts a live performance of Enrico Caruso from the Metropolitan Opera. The first radio broadcast was made by Reginald Fessenden.

The orginasation (or whatever it is supposed to be) "Lovers of Life International" and their celebration of "Day of Orgiastic Life" caught my eye... Searching in Google for both terms, no hits suggest that these items exist in the real world, outside the closed circuit of such lists (see also Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Days_of_the_Year). --Niels Ø 12:07, Jan 13, 2005 (UTC)

Trogdor the Burninator

[edit]

Trogdor the Burninator is a fictional character. Is this appropriate for the Births section?--Silverhand 16:44, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Accidental reversions

[edit]

A couple of recent edits have reverted other recent edits in the course of making new edits. It's very confusing. I've tried repairing the situation. I hope I haven't made it worse. --Alexbook (talk) 03:51, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Great New Orleans Fire

[edit]

Listed here as 1830. Is this misleading, or does it require clarification? There are two other Great(er) Fires of NOLA, in 1788 and 1794, both with their own entries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Luwolf (talkcontribs) 18:59, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 20 February 2019

Please add something among the lines of "The YouTube video 'Domino's App feat. Hatsune Miku' is deleted overnight" underneath 2018. 2600:1702:2CD0:30E0:1875:A726:8887:1423 (talk) 22:41, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: You've provided no explanation as to why the deletion of a YouTube video should be included. What's the significance? NiciVampireHeart 23:12, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Beginning of Wikipedia

[edit]

This is the day that the domain name "wikipedia.org" was founded, per the article Wikipedia. Shouldn't this be included? Kokopelli7309 (talk) 23:57, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

John Lees redirect

[edit]

Article was redirected so I removed it. Sikonmina (talk) 03:34, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As before, please add an edit summary, see WP:ES. Kiwipete (talk) 18:05, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you see here I did add an edit summary. Sikonmina (talk) 01:05, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would not consider "(redirected)" to meet WP:ES. What would have been more meaningful is to say "Article/link is a redirect to <the actual article name here>". Kiwipete (talk) 02:15, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
