This is an equation from an assignment I did this (er, last?) semester:

${\begin{matrix}V_{R_{1}}&=&I_{T}\cdot (Z_{L}\|R_{1})\\&=&{\frac {V_{T}}{R_{T}}}\cdot {\frac {Z_{L}R_{1}}{Z_{L}+R_{1}}}\\\left|{\frac {V_{R_{1}}}{V_{T}}}\right|&=&\left|{\frac {Z_{L}R_{1}}{R_{T}(Z_{L}+R_{1})}}\right|\\{\frac {P_{1}}{P_{T}}}&=&\left({\frac {V_{R_{1}}}{V_{T}}}\right)^{2}={\frac {\omega ^{2}L^{2}}{64+\omega ^{2}L^{2}}}\end{matrix}}$

I had to put it in a \begin{matrix}...\end{matrix} and it doesn't look exact, but it works.
