UK vs British
[edit]The template text has "UK-politician-stub", but the text produced says "British politician". United Kingdom and Great Britain are not exactly the same thing, so the stub text should probably be reworded.

Stub image
[edit]Can we change the image? 1) It doesn't work well as a small picture. 2) The tomb of an English King is hardly the best image for modern British politicians. What about a profile of the palace of Westminster? A party rossette? Or even an image of Churchill? Almost anything would be better.
I've made the image a shot of Big Ben. I feel it is more representative of British parliament and its politicians than Churchill, who is an icon in his own right. I was getting confused seeing his picture everywhere. - Randwicked 03:56, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
Kill the "and cite your sources" bit.
[edit]Jengod's edit to the stub should be removed asap. He's apparently decided to add "and cite your sources" to a ton of stubs, without consulting anybody else first. And now, everytime an article is double- or triple-stubbed, we'll see the "and cite your sources" two, three or four times! That edit should be removed by an administrator asap. --Valentinian 14:52, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
