Talk:Continuity error
I would suggest that you can't necessarily separate visual errors from plot errors, since you may not know why a continuity error occurred. As an example, consider the movie Space Mutiny (1988), in which Lt. Lemont is shot dead by Elijah Kalgan near a nightclub, only to reappear on the bridge of the Southern Sun in the next scene. It may have been a simple edit problem, but rearranging the scenes disrupts the narrative flow, suggesting it may have been a plot error. Or maybe it was a simple oversight, since Lemont doesn't seem to have been essential to that bridge scene. I'd recommend removing the categorization, especially since the list isn't very long or complex anyway. -- Jeff Q 18:30, 20 Apr 2004 (UTC)
