I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin on May 19, 2007.

I was previously employed as a student programmer at J.J. Pickle Research Campus, specifically The Applied Research Lab

Moved to New York City to work as a Software Engineer.

What I bring to Wikipedia: knowledge on star trek, star wars, and computers. (as if these were in short supply here!)

Subject areas that I often read here are related to the environment, energy sources, production and efficiency, finance, and many other random things.

I am somewhat involved in the GNU_Octave and Pidgin_IM open source projects.

I think Wikipedia is a great idea, sometimes I just get lost in a thousand tabs of articles as I click on the cross links between pages. So I signed up for an account and have so far only done minor editing such as spelling corrections or adding a useful link or two.

Haha I'm going way overboard with the wikifications. :-)
