The equation for the conversion from ammonia to nitric oxide should be: 4NH₃ + 5O₂ <===> 4NO + 6H₂O

Not match with my book

Overall reaction when carried out in the air

As a beginner in chemistry, I'm confused about one thing. If everything is divided by 2 at the end, Why does ${\ce {4 NH3 (g)}}$ and ${\ce {4 HNO3 (aq)}}$ become ${\ce {NH3 (g)}}$ and ${\ce {HNO3 (aq)}}$ respectively, as if the equation was divided by 4 instead?
