Opponent in 2006
[edit]Where is his opponents' list? Louie Contreras?

- If you're asking where the article is on his Democratic opponent for the November election, the answer is that there is no wikipedia article on his opponent because his opponent is not notable. You can find the criteria for notability at WP:BIO. The consensus on wikipedia is that being a major party nominee for a U.S. House seat is not, in and of itself, sufficient notability. Rename to Jerry Lewis (politician)?
[edit]When an ambiguous name such as "Jerry Lewis" or "Tom Brady" comes along, we typically give the most prolific one the page name without parentheses, but the rest have a "known for being a..." in parentheses. In this case, "Jerry Lewis (politician)" should be used instead of "Jerry Lewis (California)" per this naming convention. Need consult on this and whether to plunge forward or if there's something I need to do.Jpatch (talk) 11:13, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Support move. (politician) seems to be the precedent. If there's another, it should be (California politician). Reywas92Talk 02:15, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Religion
[edit]The box has him as Presbyterian. The categorization indicates him as Seventh-Day Adventist. Which is he? Rammer (talk) 04:15, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
Birth Year
[edit]The top of the article says he was born in 1934, but the infobox says 1932; which is it? Julyo (talk) 04:58, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
