Merge
[edit]This page probably needs to be merged with dynamic memory allocation. The buddy algorithm discussed herein already has its own article. First-fit, best-fit, and worst-fit probably should be discussed here. Will do this if no one else gets to it first. Derrick Coetzee 17:34, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Merge is done. Seems I forgot all about this, oops. Deco 05:53, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
Agreed
[edit]agree that this should be merged Mrmcgibby 21:40, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
both are hardly 1,5 screens large and have loads of in common. should be merged into one in my opinion, too.
Unmerge
[edit]IMO, memory allocation should not point to Dynamic Memory Allocation, as there are at least two other types of Memory Allocation (notably, Static and Automatic).
This page should be an access point to those 3 kinds of Memory Allocation.--Asymmetric (talk) 18:07, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
