WikiProject Biography Assessment Drive

The article may be improved by following the WikiProject Biography 11 easy steps to producing at least a B article. -- Yamara 07:25, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It should not be allowed to present a new article about a person, if you do not have a birth- year og -date to show (concerning persons still alive of course.

That may leave out a lot of models and actresses; and for some people, a birth year is just hard to find. — Yamara 07:25, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pen&Paper.net

[edit]

The link http://www.pen-paper.net/rpgdb.php?op=showcreator&creatorid=3089 was removed from this page stating that there was no consensus to use it. I have seen that site linked to on a number of different designers' articles, and have added it to some as well. Is there a reason it should not be on this page? BOZ (talk) 22:20, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about the material at the end of the link makes it a candidate for us to ignore our normal external link policies and include it for this article? -- The Red Pen of Doom 22:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not that familiar with the EL policy; where specifically does it fail? BOZ (talk) 00:08, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For starters external links are for sites that "contain further research that is accurate and on-topic; information that could not be added to the article for reasons such as copyright or amount of detail; or other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article for reasons unrelated to its accuracy." - the link to the TW page at p-p.net contains exactly: a listing of 3 publications that TW contributed to. That is not by any means a sufficient reason for linking to an outside source. -- The Red Pen of Doom 15:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough! It is pretty bare. BOZ (talk) 03:26, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
