1. Macedonia, the land in the Balkans is defined in Wikipedia as a geographical region divided between several different states (GR, RoM, Bul, and minor parts in Albania and Serbia)
2. The Music of Macedonia includes the music in all parts of that geo. region
3. The region called Macedonia within Greece with a capitol Thessaloniki is clearly defined by Wikipedia as Macedonia (Greece) or Greek Macedonia and not solely Macedonia which is a wide term. Thus, I created the article Music of Greek Macedonia (can be also Music of Macedonia (Greece) and so on.
4. Refrain from spreading political propagandha and try to contribute in a constructive way to that article. thank you
Regional music not modern music exclusive of any country
This article is generic. It should not include all kinds of music found in other appropriate articles in specific countries. Maybe a merge with Balkan music would be ok?
There is hardly any content in this page. The lists are mostly pasted from the main articles but there is nothing new in the body text. Moreover the head says that there is not one distinct form all around the region - therefore the disjunctive nation of the musical styles would not make for a good coherent article even if someone tried to turn this into one. I am turning this page into a disambiguation page. This is more or less what this page already was, just removing the bloat. Shadowmorph^"^12:43, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
