Inconsistencies
[edit]I don't think Etheria vs. Realm of the Sun is an inconsistency at all. There is no indication in the games of where Eldritch is in relation to Daventry. I have removed the statement that Etheria is shown above Daventry in the KQVII intro since that isn't true. I have delayed any further excisions. If no justification is given I will remove that statement from the article completely. Eric119 02:25, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
- I will now remove it. Eric119 20:50, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
The intro shows Rosella glaring at the clouds, where an Etherian castle is visible. This indicates that Etheria is above Daventry too. If Etheria isn't a realm above the whole world cosmologically (and not only Eldritch, regionally), then at least Daventry and Eldritch are neighing. Pictureuploader 15:50, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, that. That castle is colored like the cloud behind it, and so is a cloud itself. All the other examples of castles and Etherian land are colored normally and do not look like clouds. Also, the castle appears to vanish a few moments later. You could argue that the cloud engulfed it, except that at first the castle is becoming more distinct. The castle is just part of Rosella's imagination. Eric119 01:13, 20 July 2005 (UTC)
- Now with the www.tsl-game.com thing coming up can somebody make a King's QuestIX or King's Quest Silver Lining thing happen. 05:35, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- I was wondering if fans really think that it's not a true sequel because of 3D graphics, because I very much doubt that. Graphics have changed dramatically over the years in the King's Quest series, and it's never been a big issue. As Gabriel Knight 3 has shown, point & click adventure is perfectly possible in 3D, and beside the storyline I really think THAT is the biggest issue of all, changing the genre of the game. mansize 02:34, 5 June 2006.
