Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wikipedia is Communism
Delete. This was a user who attempted to vandalise articles. He is counter-productive to the wikipedia spirit and therefore it is foolish to try to restore his destructive and POV message. Users who have been blocked indefinitely do not have the privelege of having their own user pages. He invalidly asserted that Wikipedia and communism's goal is to be totalitarian; neither of these are correct. In truth, both ideals closely represent that of a gift economy, one is of free software and the GFDL, and one has principles of egalitarianism - just that the latter applies in more narrow situations. There is a danger though. People like these endanger Wikipedia and free software so his original user page must not be allowed to exist. It is people like him who spread the insiduous issue of software patents and endanger Wikipedia and free software itself. -- Natalinasmpf 02:35, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Umm, you can't delete a user through VfD. android↔talk 02:55, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)
- But you can delete the user page. Although the user has been blocked, the user page still remains, and is contrary to the wikipedia spirit, and should be removed. Why do you people defend and endorse pro-vandal message? -- Natalinasmpf 02:56, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Invalid VfD. User pages are not deleted via this process. Nataliasmpf has been blocked for 24 hours for repeated vandalism of this User page, even though he/she was warned. RickK 03:02, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)
