Movement of Content
[edit]New articles have been edited to chronicle the history of the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors, the Detroit Jr. Red Wings, and the Detroit Whalers. Some of the content that was on the Plymouth Whalers article has been move to help fill those articles. Flibirigit 23:09, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
I don't completely agree with that. It is the same franchise the entire time, and it's history is all a part of the whole. Pat Peake was an Ambassador, but was retired as a Whaler. I think there should be a detailed history the moves from era to era under each team name, but it should be one flowing article. At bare minimum, leave the Detroit Whalers a part of the current page. My defense: Los Angeles Angels.
All teams in the Ontario Hockey League have the same format. Flibirigit 01:13, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Again, this is ludicrous that there isn't information listed from the previous monikers. The team is a FRANCHISE and all of what happened in Detroit Compuware Ambassadors, the Detroit Jr. Red Wings, and the Detroit Whalers is a part of the franchise history. I recommend merging the four into one Plmyouth Whalers page. --35.11.131.117 (talk) 02:35, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Against a merger. I agree with Flibirigit's old argument. DMighton (talk) 01:47, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
