Purple Rain personnel: new information

[edit]

I just added it in but I just wanted to double check: for those who don't know, Guitarcloud is an archive site for all the equipment that Prince used to record his albums, and it spans his whole career. Everything is backed up with sources, whether it be recently sourced from new books, or interviews with Prince and his bandmates, then and now. I'm aware this is new to an already established section but I hope it's good enough to be featured on the article.

Also, whoever keeps adding sources to Prince Vault should probably not use that as a source, as that website is not as accurate as it may seem, and is pretty much a Wikipedia dedicated entirely to Prince, like Fandom.

Thanks so much for your time and patience! 2601:147:4700:B420:84CB:59B7:57A4:E199 (talk) 19:02, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Purple rain info part 2

[edit]

New information I found from Duane Tudahl and Benoit Clerc also works as sources for the personnel section, and it also reveals that Take Me With U wasn't performed by the Revolution, it was just Prince.

These are the sources.[1][2][3] 2601:147:4700:B420:A120:68D7:12B2:55A6 (talk) 20:33, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This album being noted as a perfect mixture of rock pop R&B and funk with elements of psychedelia which means this album is psychedelia too right?? DPF429 (talk) 23:30, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
