Size of plates
[edit]Until perhaps the mid-90's, the Italian plates were often very small and hard to read. Does anyone know why? Astronaut 13:02, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Removed "State Forestry Corps plates" section
[edit]Since 2017, State Forestry Corps became (mainly) part of the Carabinieri. Consequently, Forestry Corps vehicles now have a Carabinieri (CC) plate. 82.213.98.39 (talk) 14:32, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
Diplomatic Plates
[edit]It says "Greyed out codes are not currently used. Q and U cannot be used in consular corps plates, as such they are Bold Italic." - but then the bold italic were those which had V - so I changed it to V.
But then there are Iceland (HV), Norway (BV), Mozambique and Pakistan (DV) which are not bold italic. Also Slovenia has both BF and DF.
Does anyone have an explanation or could give a link to a reliable source? The Italian Wikipedia version is not better (and even worse with it GK (Phillipines) bold italic and GQ (which is not issued) not.
