The Swiss militia was quite well prepared to defend against Nazi Germany. There was an attack by paratroopers against Switzerland. The defeated the attack by shaving the snow off the mountain whereby when the paratroopers dropped they were killed outright. Switzerland had no political collaboration but of course with financial dealings like everything else they looked the other way. The biggest reason Nazi Germany and Hitler did not attack Switzerland was because they were going to fight it out. Mountain warfare is seldom beneficial for the attacker.WHEELER 17:27, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
