Historical reference - Photograph was used widely by the Tasmanian Wilderness Society during the Franklin dam blockade to prevent the construction of the Franklin dam. It was published in many newspaper advertisements in the days before the 1983 election, and became the most well known image of the Franklin river because of this. |

Placed not only for aesthetic reasons but in historical context for Franklin Dam controversy. Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend was crucial to the success of the Franklin campaign. Irreplaceable image. Reduced resolution.
Dombrovskis was highly permissive of the use of this image, and it may be considered to be an open license, but I cannot find any exact wording.
