MMC 512Mb limit
[edit]According to the 2006 manual for the 6230i, the limitation of memory has a maximum of 512Mb. As it is shipped with 32Mb only, and I didn't have the possibility to check a 1 or 2Gb card, I believe that this will be a technical limitation. Edoderoo 10:19, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have this phone and have the 1 GB MMC card and it works. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.111.49.57 (talk) 04:44, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- There's a difference between 'works' and 'supported'. I can check into this later - if I remember! Wibbble 16:45, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have a 2gb MMC card and works fine. No problems. I have firmware version 03.89. Janihy (talk) 14:02, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Matrix Phone?
[edit]I am sure the Nokia 7110 not the 6230 has the honour of being the 'Matrix Phone' as Nokia developed it with a spring loaded release as per the 8110 shown in the film. Can anyone confirm ? Jaruzel 13:42, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Having the development codename 'Matrix' doesn't mean it's the 'Matrix phone'. However, internal codenames are notoriously difficult to provide suitable references for, so it should probably go anyway. Wibbble 16:53, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
No Snake?
[edit]My phone came with Snake 2 on it. Everyone other 6230 I have seen came with snake. 90.199.10.44 17:49, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Bugs
[edit]- "Sometimes for no reason, the display lights up for a few seconds and then goes out again." I think it lights up every time when the battery loses one stroke. I mean those strokes, lines, whatever the corret word is on this right side. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.179.148.51 (talk) 18:25, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- I can press 08 even when the keylock is activated. Is this a bug also? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.111.66.66 (talk) 15:39, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- This is not a bug. The phone is assuming that you're typing 080, an urgent telephone number for Mexico that may be used to contact the police and other services. --Veeliam (talk) 01:42, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
