upon invitation, i visited this page and found kidnapped articles on my way in. the concept of kidnap evoked unpleasant memories in my mind, but that is probably not why i attended the list. i attended to it because it was there to attend to, with an invitation to take care of it. i care.

the vein of green economics running through many of the articles was problematic for the articles, which is my primary concern. the only comments i found were toward the reputation of the author, which matters less to me than does the knowledge offered there. point is, i didn't find much edit history and didn't go looking - i treated the knowledge as knowledge and included what seemed informative and accurate, leaving notes where i had remaining doubts, doing copy edits as needed in the otherwise well-compiled copy. the green slant remains problematic mostly because, well, its a bit drafty for one thing, and it is generally not presented in context with more widely recognized elements of discussion(academic, professional, press, etc.) related to the topics.

a couple of the articles had new copy on the main page, so i dealt with any collation that seemed needed, but mostly left a couple. one topic i did not even read - it deals with a provocative term i find unnerving, probably as a result of earlier experiences, elsewhere with hostile personal euphemisms. such character attribution seems a main-stay of some on-line communities, though, so i'm not encouraging you to delete the "t-word" article, somebody is probably interested. i'm just not interested. and the distrust/mistrust essay didn't quite pass muster because i read somewhere that 'wiki is not a usage guide' and nobody fought over the article or deleted it, so i guess that makes it a standard. websters calls distrust a synonym for mistrust, so the distinction as drawn in the otherwise rather interesting article is really quite fine. i would need to know more about the etymology of the prefixes dis- and mis- before i would ride the authors vehicle into an essay of formal applications of distrust. i didn't go to List of civics topics because, well, i thought i would be trying to guess who made the list based on what kind of person they might be rather than on knowing what civics topics are listed in wikipedia and which other meta-topic lists there might be.

so i reviewed and somehow managed: /Anthropic bias /Yield (economics) /Ecological yield (already done, though) /Comprehensive outcome /Limit of inquiry /Platonist /Product stewardship

i anticipate some might ask why i don't use a durable pseudonym, and all i care to say is i don't do that, the site does not require that, i don't care to discuss it and please respect my contribution.
