Muslim percentages in Bosnia and Herzegovina
[edit]Percentages of Muslims in Bosnia is way of and has no citation. This article said 77.9% while www cia gov says some 51% in 2013. [1] Even Wiki article about religion in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020 says much smaller pctg (46,5%).
Generalisation to be avoided - Let's be more accurate
[edit]Half the truth is worse than a lie.
To be fair to the man kind and reduce the risk of manipulation of the vulnerable minds, especially children who come across this page - A more true picture about religions should be demonstrated.
I would suggest:
1- Writing up the number of subdivisions in each of these religions. Bear in mind that some of these subdivisions are each other's worse enemies. So how could you just lump them up to come of with billions of people listed under just one religion name?
2- Listing the income distribution in between each and all the above categories.
3- Listing the educational levels and distribution in between these religions.
4- Reporting the rate of growth for these religions.
5- Reporting the growth rate in the population for each of these religions.
6- Reporting the true practising population of these religions. Good luck with this!
How do you use the census data from some of the most violent countries, which their population is not free to make any decision for their lives?
I consider this page from Wikipedia to be vastly in violation of human right for accepting the lies!
To be safe of doing all the above I would suggest wiping out this page and writing the truth, that us, human beings, are not mature enough to make up our minds, and end the story.
Any objections?
Good luck! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmabood (talk • contribs) 21 November 2014
Tally of Counts
[edit]The list entries do not tally to the total nor are the percentage consistent with the counts.

Please add Hellenism to this list. There are approximately 2,000 of us. King-Charlie-TheHorse (talk) 18:26, 29 May 2024 (UTC)

The percentage of spiritism is wrong. It is written that it is 1.5% of world population, but it is 2%, or it would not be 15 million people and above judaism. João L. Paiter (talk) 00:12, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

- What source? The percentage is wrong, this is it. João L. Paiter (talk) 17:10, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
- I have to agree with João L. Paiter: where on Earth does the figure of 15,000,000 come from? I think the burden to keep that number falls to the editors who can defend this extraordinary claim. --Smilo Don (talk) 14:41, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
More religions
[edit]We should add more religions in that grid because it is not specific enough. I don't even know where Scientology and Gnosticism goes, for exemple. I'll add what I can. We also could put the evolution of the growth and decline of religions, for example, put Manichæism and Pythagoreanism. João L. Paiter (talk) 13:27, 22 July 2024 (UTC)

Shinto
[edit]At a glance the figure of 4,000,000 for Shinto seems absurdly low. Surely there are surveys in Japan testifying to far greater identification with this faith? Smilo Don (talk) 14:43, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
- I've been working on picking through the Major Religious Groups page (strange we have both these two pages!) which currently gives the figure as 100,000,000 - although both the 4 million and 100 million figures seem off, and the actual figure seems to be more like 89 million (or slightly over). 2A02:C7C:C4CD:A500:141:1F1D:A962:640B (talk) 11:44, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
